I have noticed that after i complete a monster's bestiary it starts dropping better quality loot, i wanted to know if that's simply luck or if there's actually something else going on, thanks.

Loot is not improved when you complete a bestiary entry. The ways you can improve loot for certain creatures is done through the prey system, boosted creature of the day, double loot events, or some charms when selected on the creature (Scavenge or Gut for example). If you complete a bestiary entry you will be able to select a charm on the creature!

Also, here's some more information on the Bestiary entries-

"To successfully complete a creature entry, you will have to unlock a total of three stages. The first stage will unlock basic information such as hit points, speed, armor and common loot items, for example. The second stage will allow you to see uncommon loot items, resistances as well as hunting spots for this creature. Once you have killed enough creatures to unlock the final stage, you can also see semi-rare and rare loot items. How often you have to kill a creature to unlock more of its details depends on the creature's difficulty".

Fom my understanding very rare items, require you to have the item dropped by the creature first in order to unlock it!

Source- Loot entries in bestiary will require the collection of the item or killing a creature that drops the item is enough to unlock it?

This is pure luck, there are no verified data, whether from cipsoft or the community, that the bestiary affects the loot
