The level 200 summon familiar spell is amazing compared to the summon creature level 25 spell for druids and sorcerers. (like when you can summon a demon skeleton or other creatures)

Is there any discussion about this so far by cipsoft? I would love to have my summon walk fast as me, damage and hit point scale with level and at least follow me up or down stairs like the level 200 familiar spell.

Please share any info. I hope they don't leave the spell flat useless.

Sorry could make your question clear?

He's simply trying to figure out why the level 25 summon creature spell is different than the level 200 summon familiar spell. He's concerned the level 25 spell is useless compared to the level 200 spell. He wants to know why they are vastly different, if this was intended by Cipsoft.

"Summon creature" spell gives you a particular creature. Such creatures exist in the world and are the same. The familiar is your friend: this type of being is not seen anywhere in the world alone. While you are getting experience, your familiar (or your power to summon one) becomes stronger. You are comparing stupid orc (or demon skeleton) to fellow created from your own capability.
On the other hand, more technically: with rising amount of high-level players Cipsoft realized that summons are too weak to be useful. Why don't they just not broaden the variety of monsters possible to summon? Maybe the didn't wanted to buff mages that way; probably found that summoning demons will make too big defference between calsses.
