Is there any limit for exchanging christmas tokens?

I wanted a christmas cookie tray because I had an extra coin with me, but the NPC wouldn't exchange it to me. is there any yearly limit for it?

you can exchange whole year, but i'm curious with this limit ;p why i can't get tray and gingerbread same as my friend?

There is no limit to trading the Christmas tokens. And you can trade throughout the year.
