How to obtain Enchanted Staff?

I saw item called enchanted staff. it's similar to normal staff . Is it possible to enchant somehow the normal staff? if not, how to obtain the enchanted one?

It's listed in the Cyclopedia, if my memory is right (I could be very wrong) I thought the staff expired whether equipped or not and if the only way to get this item was from the spell and the spell doesn't exist anymore it shouldn't be possible that it's in the Cyclopedia. Either way, I know that if an item was enchanted Cipsoft reverted most (not all, for ex: Rainbow Shield) enchanted items back to their normal appearance. I know you cannot buy this item from the NPCs, it's not a replica in-game. I didn't post this as an answer because I'm not sure if it expired regardless.

The spell was removed from the game since it was replaced with the Wand of Darkness.
this is what it was known about the spell "Buy the Enchant Staff Spell from Eremo and cast it on a Staff. Not very useful, as it only lasts for 60 seconds. However, it can be used as an enchanted shield since its defense is the highest of all weapons. It's the best weapon of those without a level requirement. A knight at level 8 with skill 107 can kill other player at level 8 with one hit (185 PVP damage)." This spell was only available for sorcerer if I recall

To answer the question properly: is not possible to obtain it anymore since as shatway comment the staff indeed lose the enchant even when not being used
