What is the fastest way to Carlin from Kevin's post office?

I often times do Postman quest when I create new characters and the quest in general requires you to walk a lot and often times require you to go from Kevin's post office.

I often question myself if it's faster to just walk from the post office to Carlin or go south to Thais and travel to Carlin with the ship. Or perhaps there's another ideal path?

If money is not a problem (which is not because is very cheap), the fastest way is Carlin > Edron > Kazordoon > Kevin
