Is x-log against the rules?

Question

I'm hunting the midnight panther for bestiary, so I have a secondary char searching the known spawns and I x-log many times per day (force close the client while the char is still in battle mode). I don't x-log to survive, I do so because it is fast this way to change to my main char when I need to do this hundreds of times to find a single panther.

Is there any official statement? Is it destructive behavior to force quit the application to make it faster to switch chars?

I believe that your question can be considered different from mine, although it is somewhat similar... More interestingly is that you presented in your question an information that I have not seen before, although it is quite old.

This is what customer support told me in a ticket:

"X-logging, in general, is not illegal. As long as you don't use any unofficial software to leave the game and just use the regular Tibia functions to x-log, it does not violate any Tibia Rules. -Manina"

I included your example as well as the Reddit post and I explained to them in the past someone was possibly punished. You can message customer support as well if you have any concerns or for them to repeat this information. I personally do not x-log unless it's where I know I'm safe and once in a blue moon since I love to offline train and make sure I'm in a protection zone. I see it as a weakness in my eyes if you use it to your advantage to survive.

shawtay, thank you very much! I'm really worried of continuing hunting the midnight panther this way (xlogging) and getting banned. I hope Cip support gives us an objective answer to solve this question.
