Was Dracola really in the game before the PoI update?

I have heard that the Undead Dragon boss Dracola was once an unique Dragon that could be found very early in Tibia's existence. Is that true? Why was an uniquely named dragon added to the game and why was it removed just to be added back years later?

What is the story of a dragon called Dracola? Both lore and gameplay wise.

"This dragon was first introduced in the game 1997 when a map hacker added this creature in to the map in a hidden pick spot in the Plains of Havoc Dragon Lair Guido later discovered the dragon and removed it admittedly.

This creature re-appeared in the 7.9 Update, and can be found as a rare spawn in the Pits of Inferno. "

Do we have any proofs this really happened? Any pictures or is it just a legend? Does Cip admit they took the idea for the PoI boss from this old hacker creation?

The history was added by a Bennie, a TibiaWiki administrator, on August 24th, 2016. I don't believe he is still an active administrator but it may be worth reaching out to one of the other current admins of TibiaWiki. Through their Discord perhaps?
