How can I enhance (maximize) my chances of obtaining the Tainted Heart and Darklight Heart?

What are all the methods that will help maximize the chances of obtaining the items required for the crimson offering at Blood Vestibule- Darklight Heart and Tainted Heart?  It appears that acquiring there items will be quite challenging, and I am exploring all possible approaches of making it work. As it does not seem to be a regular loot (working only if taints are activated), I was wondering if all traditional ways will still work.
