Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the position swap mechanic from the first taint of Bakragore (Rotten Blood).

According to the Tibia Fandom wiki:

"Melee monsters have a 6% chance to swap positions with a player within a certain radius. It will be indicated two seconds before it takes place by an effect on the field the targeted player is standing on."

However, I've heard some streamers mentioning that this isn't exactly how it works. They claim that only one specific creature from each hunting ground, along with the Elder Bloodjaws, are the ones that actually trigger the swap (for example: at Darklight Core, this creature is Walking Pillar).

Could someone clarify how this mechanic truly works in practice?

  • Is the wiki correct that any melee monster has the chance to swap?

  • Or are the streamers right about it being limited to specific creatures (and if so, which ones)?

Thanks in advance!
