What's the lore behind the Rotten Blood Quest ?

So far other hard quests have a clear lore, that is somehow related to the Tibia common world (meaning the life in mainland), for example, in Soulwar we fight against Goshnar (Ferumbras grandfather) personality shards to avoid them escaping into the living world. And in Primal Ordeal the gnomes dig deeper (one more time as if they have not learned from their past mistakes) and find an extremely powerful primal world, which we need to help them deal with as we have done in the previous warzones.

So,  what would be the lore of the Rotten Blood quest, and how is it related to the common world of Tibia?

Rotten Blood Quest is another cosequence of Variphor's actions. He killed The Blood God and corrupted his remains, which created Bakragore, that beast devoured all Blood God's servants, even ancient dragons. It corrupted all the realms of The Blood God (hunting grounds of Rotten Bloods) and spawned his childrens (Murcion, Ichgahal and Chagorz, Vemiath) pair of twins - twins of rot and twins of "the light that is not". The titles and vibes of Blood Rotten Quest strongly connects with dimension between realms that Variphor came out and corruption that it came with him. I think there can be connection with magic webway and why it was corrupting everything.
