Do weekly tasks work for free accounts?

I haven't played for a while now and now I've decided to come back to check the new features from the last update. Loking at the bounty tasks, they seem to be normally available for me, but when I go to the weekly tasks tab it seems they're simply blocked for me, even though it shows the possibility to deliver some itens.

So my question is, free accounts only have access to half the feature?

No, free accounts can use this feature but you can only choose the beginner type because of the access to harder creatures being in premium areas..

I've chosen the beginner type for the bounty tasks and the weekly tasks still dont show as available for me eh - idk is there any requirement for them to  be available first?

The weekly are available but you already choose adept so you can only choose again next week
