Is the Mystic Jaguar spawn mechanics or just pure luck?

I've been camping the known locations for months, checking several times a day and at all hours, but without any success – not even a single spawn.

Meanwhile, I've heard reports of it being found multiple times on different servers… yet it still seems incredibly hard to actually encounter, let alone tame.

Does anyone know if there are specific conditions, timers, or hidden triggers involved, or is it just extremely rare? At this point, it makes the Midnight Panther feel like a walk in the park.

I've seen a few questions about locations, but since there seem to be quite a lot of them, I've basically been checking the entire area just to be sure.

Am I missing something, or is it really just this elusive?

It's just pure luck. You don't need to do anything to force the respawn. She is very rare and can skip a lot of days without even appearing.

yet there are reports of ppl finding them more often than what not, even the site doesn't rule out the possibility of having a hidden mechanism that we don't know to enhance its appearance, in the other hand the answer is quite accurate in everything else.
