While exploring the different graveyards in Rookgaard (large graveyard, free account area, and premium side), I noticed that several tombstones contain specific names and unusual epitaphs, such as Arkanor, Maus, Franziska, Clint, and others.
Some of these seem humorous at first glance, but others feel oddly specific, mentioning professions, accidents, or relationships (for example, Arkanor being described as a “teleportation scientist”, or Clint’s “marriage with a troll lady”). This made me wonder whether these are just jokes, or if they reference something deeper within Tibia.
I checked some fansites, where the gravestones are documented, but I couldn’t find any explanation about their origin, meaning, or possible connections.
This raises a few questions:
- Are these characters part of any official Tibia lore or past events?
- Could they be references to real players, Cipsoft staff, or inside jokes?
- Has any of these graves ever been linked to secrets, quests, or unsolved mysteries in Rookgaard?
Given how intentionally designed Rookgaard is as a starting area, it seems unusual that so many named graves exist without any known context.
Is there any confirmed information about them, or are they intentionally left unexplained?
