With the vocation balance, Hell's Core (Exevo gran mas flam) can now deal energy damage while Master of Thunder stance is active, but this stance also boost energy spells with 6% extra critical chance, which means Rage of Skies (exevo gran mas vis) have 6% extra critical chance.

Considering this, and the fact that Hell's Core base damage is higher that Rage of Skies base damage, which UE is better to use???

In fact, the Master of Thunder stance increases the Critical Hit chance of natural Energy Damage spells by 4%, not 6%. This percentage can be increased by up to 4% by unlocking the stages of the revelation perk "Lord of Destruction".

However, regardless of this increased critical hit chance, the Hell's Core spell remains better, due to its base damage being higher than that of Rage of the Skies (250 vs 200).

The only two situations I find it worth using Rage of the Skies over Hell's Core are:

1. While hunting Summer Court or any other mob that have heavy fire damage reflection, so any mistake in the spell rotation can result in death, so I prefer not risking using hells core

2. While using Crypt Bile giving +6% energy pierce and +10% Rage of the skies base damage buff in spawns where energy element is prefered, whether cause of monsters weak to energy or where energy pierce breaks the enemy resistance , in this situation Rage of the skies almost surpasses Hells core and giving the crit chance it can be even better
