Why is it no longer possible to put items into corpses?

Did Cipsoft make note of why they didn't allow items in corpses anymore? I found this useful in my opinion when looting. I can't think of any reasons why they disabled it can you please explain.

According to the CMs, it was a necessary step to prevent a potential misuse/abuse scenario.
