There's some caves that I hunt that I get the perception that in some places inside the cave that the respawn time is different. Is this a real thing or just misperception?

I know two confirmed cases of this situation, but it is related to the bosses - Mahatheb and insect bosses on Hive Outpost.

The system of boss' appearing is quite specific, usually you can meet there regular monsters like Vampires and Bone Beasts (in case of Mahatheb). You can rarely meet the boss instead of Vampires or Bone Beasts (they appear alternately) and you can observe that respawn of Vampires/Bone Beasts is much slower than other monsters in this cave and it takes 5 minutes.

I can mention that respawn time of Emerald Damselfly Emerald Damselfly in Dryad Gardens are slower than respawn time of other monsters there.

It's possible that the respawn time can be different in two places as the same cave. It all depends on the respawn.

Here's an official response on the Tibia forums by a CM:

++Concerning the respawn rate, I have received the following internal feedback: The respawn rate of all monsters in the heart of destruction area is at a standard rate. Only in areas right around the teleporters that lead to the heart the respawn rate is much higher and that is indeed intended. It is designed for groups.

I know respawn rates depend on players online but also can be quite random depending on the spawn. For example, sometimes monsters change like at Glooth Bandits. Or sometimes monsters change and are spaced out (Like the Oramond Raids).
