What does the phantasmal hair do?

Hello! 

Today I killed The Thaian  and it dropped this item:  21:36 You see phantasmal hair. It weighs 0.50 oz.

I search it on cyclopedia but it only shows the weight. And it canno't be sell on market.

Does anyone knows what this item do? It is useful, rare, or any clue?

It has no known use at this time. It doesn't drop that item that frequently so depending on your world it may have a rarity value but its not pretty so as a decoration its probably not sought after. This item is now tradable in the market and can be sold to Yasir (Source- bugfix and content changes July 2020)
