Ive noticed that my character seems to pause after using whirlwind throw that doesn't kill the target.  I'll be chasing the target, whirlwind throw that doesn't kill it and my character seems to pause in the chase. For fast moving targets this can be quite frustrating as they get further out of range. I looked on the Tibia website at Whirlwind throw and I'm not sure if its intended or something on my end.

It states in the cooldown section 6 seconds, then mentions ( Group: 2s).

I'm unclear if this means 2 seconds are needed to recover your weapon which would explain the pause I'm getting, or is it something else entirely?

Any help, much appreciated

EDIT: Ive added more description about what I mean by the 'pause' to hopefully make what I'm after clearer,

Are you using “auto walk” / “ auto chase”?

First of all let me explain what is a "group". In Tibia you can notice that there are different kind of spells. Some of them are necessary to deal the damage, while the task of others is to heal you.

We've got spells groups like:

  • healing
  • attack
  • support

It states in the cooldown section 6 seconds, then mentions ( Group: 2s).

It means that you've got 6 seconds cooldown for this particular spell Whirlwind Throw (which is an attack spell) and during first 2 seconds all of spells from "attack" group are blocked because of 2 seconds cooldown for whole group.

I don't think you understood his question. He asks why his character stops after using Whirlwind Throw spell, because if you have the option of chasing after the target and you use this spell then your character stops in place for a moment instead of chasing the target.

Yes, thank you for the information on what the (group: 2s) refers to, I did not know what that meant and youve explained it. Still looking for what might be the cause of my character pausing after I use Whirlwind Throw
