Can account wide mounts be used by Tournament characters?

Due to the Sunset of Tournaments, this question is outdated.

Recently we just had the first mount that can be used account wide for any character once bought (CM even told that future characters will be able to use this mount). The mount was announced on this post (for a limited time): Giving Back Post

That was the first case that I heard about a mount being able to be used account wide. However, I have a question about this: Will this mount be available for Tournament characters?

Yes, this was just confirmed by Mirade today. 

Can we use this mount in tournament characters?

Yes.
