Do the items that raise Magic Level affect the Magic Shield formula? Items such as Foods, Potions, Equipment, etc...

Yes, indeed it does! The Magic Shield formula is calculated with the magic level which you actually have at the time when you are using the spell- therefore, your loyalty, equipment or even mastermind potion/ enchanted party spell will increase the amount of mana absorption of your Magic Shield.
