What should a MS use for damage at Ferumbras Mortal Shell?

Hello, I wonder what a Sorcerer should use at Ferumbras Mortal Shell? Sudden death runes deal such a low damage. I heard something about Explosion runes. Maybe some kind of wave works better than Sd?

As far I know both druids and ms just throw SD, you can also use exori moe to increase incoming damage.

According to Ferumbras Mortal Shell's resistances, the best thing for a mage would be to use "Exori Moe > Energy Wave > Dead Beam > Energy Beam" and repeat, keeping in mind that it is neutral to energy and death. Using that rotation of spells plus a Soul Tainter with the Dead Beam augments ensures better damage
