I've heard of this mechanic called juking.

From what I've heard it's some kind of mechanic players use to lose aggro of mobs so they switch target.

Apparently it's kind of essential and very useful in end game content, like soul war.

How does it work and how do you do it?

This is probably not a named used by many players but rather in some smaller group. I also never heard of it but I have a few guesses about what it could be, would be good if you had more details about what you know.

verb

gerund or present participlejuking

  1. 1.

    INFORMAL•NORTH AMERICAN

(in sport) make a sham move to mislead an opponent.

"Howard juked left, sending three defenders leaning as he went toward the center of the field"

  2. 2.

    SCOTTISH•NORTHERN ENGLISH

turn or bend quickly, typically to avoid someone or something.

    "I jouked around the corner"

According to Google's Juking definition. I think its probably a term mostly used in PvP servers. It probably consist on making the opponent think you'll make a move and surprise him with another... Since I'm not a PvP player I couldn´t think of any actually... but I imagine something like this for example:

Running away form a pk and reaching somewhere you could pick right or left. Since you're a couple of sqm away from him you throw something like a wall or bomb to right/left and pointing that direction but running exactly the other.

Actually I don't find this useful at all in tibia unless you're extremely fast (higher levels).

Now I remember in Tibia Version 11.2 we used to go full team to Draken Walls and our Paladin used to make a juking move. I'll do my best to explain:

First we got an almost full box with ek 7/8. The 8th mob was on pally so he approach with the mob closing the box, something like this:

MOB
PALLY
MOBEMPTY SPACEMOB
MOBKNIGHTMOB
MOBMOBMOB

So the pally stacked up with EK and in a matter of milliseconds managed to unstack to the empty space and running one sqm in diagonal line. The mob ran in the box and ek could exeta him, so rp stopped being targeted..

But well, this it's all I can think of. Sorry for my bad english and also Sorry if i didn't answered your question at all. Did my best!

this is an interesting idea of pve content, i have never heard of "juking" in tibia but this kind of mechanic fit really well with the concept.
