Which alt vocation is better for money making - knight or monk?

I already have a MS but sometimes i want to play different so I want a melee.

I was wondering considering the upcoming changes - which one would you guys pick (lets assume both are same skills and levels), Monk or Knight as a money maker?

I'm a completely solo player, so obviously it's just hunt oriented and not bosses etc.

Since Monks' sustain is very OP and your char tend to even stop using supplies while solo hunting I'd say Monk is the best vocation for gold farming. But hunting with a Monk can be a bit more painful comparing to EKs. Knights is the least tiring vocation to solo hunt for hours and hours, so there is that.

First answer is wrong. Monk is the worst option for you. Monk had the biggest waste since release until lvl 400 only after that lvl and with bis eq he could profit but before nerfes. He got nerfed so much that only few players play monk on new servers because he wastes more than any profession and is hard to play without better dmg.

Since u play ms you profit the most on highest lvls as magical vocations as ms and ed profit the most, then rp, ek and last monk.

Ek is profitable only for bots or if u want to chill because its easiest vocation to play.

Since u have MS u should know places to profit but I think u want a vocation easy to play so EK.

Monk is for fun and waste not for profit. The guy who answered never played monk and would delete that char after getting to lvl 100.
