How does creature respawn actually scale in semi-abandoned hunting areas over time, and can players intentionally “stabilize” a high-efficiency spawn?
While hunting in less popular areas (for example, Edron Werecreatures cave or some deeper Yalahar zones), I noticed that respawn behavior seems inconsistent compared to high-traffic places like Asura Palace or Summer Court.
Sometimes:
- Creatures respawn extremely fast after clearing
- Other times, the same route feels “empty” or delayed
From my understanding, Tibia uses a dynamic respawn system, but I couldn’t find clear technical explanations about:
- Does respawn rate dynamically adjust based on player activity over time, or only on current presence?
- Is there any “decay” effect if an area is left unused for hours/days?
- Can a single player (or small team) intentionally maintain or “prime” a spawn to reach optimal efficiency?
- Are there differences between instanced respawns (like boss rooms) and open-world hunting grounds?
