long time ago paladins used to hate that creatures were at Melee because that used to mean a lot of damage reduction due to missed attacks but also those who managed to hit did less damage compared to those who were shooted from 2+ sqm; with the introduction of diamond arrows + imbuements, close-combat and also fullboxing nevermore would mean a threat but an incredible way to hunt  (because as burst arrows they haven't chance to miss) but that doesn't mean they will do full damage (at least not explicitly). So pop-up the question: don't they have reduced damage cuz they are at melee?

Tibiawiki (Distance Fighting Article) and tibia-stats (Distance Fighting Research) have their distance fighting articles outdated  so their information didn't help me to clarify anything but assumptions and the damage calculator formula (essentially because they took all the damage lost as lack of skills).so i finally reach this question:

Beyond the low damage probability by low skills/low lvl and the damage lost by missing hits, does paladins have extra low damage by fighting at melee?

To aid the objective of the question:
Will a paladin do the same damage with diamond arrows at melee and at 2-3 sqm?
Will a high skills paladin do the same damage at melee with spectrals than at distance?
Is it actually true that at higher distance skills u won't be affected by shooting at melee?

Previously, if my memory doesn't fail me, there was a point about 5 sqms away, where you had the best chance of hitting your target, of course, it's from the time of 7.6 where rumors abounded like the wolf tooth necklace increased the % of the loot and the blue robe the magic level, really there was no way to prove it, but now with the new data we get from data mining, we can see that this is not the case today, skills do affect the number of successful hits, but to a certain extent, I think that from 80 distance and up, skills stop affecting the accuracy of the ammunition.

sadly enough most of the answers are assumptions even the ones based on "statistics" because someone (6-7 years ago) said that doesn't matter how much distance u have reached a certain point in terms of damage/hour because u probably will have 100% accuracy based on statistics, so no one else tested that or anything later to see if truly there's 100% accuracy on certain weapons/conditions, and if they tested it out there isn't sustainable data.

what i know is that there's a HUGE difference between distance 80 and distance 90 also between 90 and 100 in terms of damage/hr. But i couldn't secure that is due only to higher skills average damage because even at lvl 255 with distance 119 (using pots+eq) i use to miss some arrows while hunting with spectral bolts + crossbow of destruction at 2-3-4 sqm
