Some relevant multiplayer games nowadays are very attentive to accounts with IPs accesses that changed their location suddenly and usually the punishment is at least a banishment due to the suspicious behavior. After reading the Tibia rules, we can agree that according to the text there we can't share or sell our account, and an account that suddenly connects only in another different continent is somewhat weird and might be an occurrence of sharing/account selling.

Should I be worried if I move from one continent to other and play Tibia? Should I tell support about that? Or this kind of rule enforcement rarely occurs in Tibia nowadays?

I used to log in with my laptop, but also with a private computer at my grandmother's in the Netherlands. I also logged in with friends or in others cities in my country. Nothing influenced getting banned. I think that in the event of a ban just write to the service, earlier it makes no sense.

I think in general isn't be a problem to log in at another city, even another country/continent, what can be a problem is the frequency of these logins among. If you start to log in in the morning at one city and at night to another 500km from distance it could be a problem in the future, specially if some another player report you for sharing for exapmple.

Hello FPoPP.

People using third-party software to counteract high pings to some extent and it change their IP address all the time due to proxy connection.
It never was punished.

The most knowing software by people is probably NoPing and can be awarded in events of some fansites.
