For Massive Water Elemental massive or Water Elemental regular water elementals you can use a fishing rod to collect additional loot. I was curious as to if your fishing level matters in this equation. The better your fishing level the more loot you can get or chances of getting better loot? I'm thinking about this because maybe your fishing level matters when catching fishes? So would it be the same for using it to loot?

That's a really interesting approach. I must say I've never measured it myself BUT: I looted the Leviathan's Amulet after perhaps 30 mins of fishing them (or even less). I have virtually no fishing level to speak of. Also had some pearls etc. At the same time, my friend is trying to get the Amulet for the achievement, has some fishing level (the last time I checked 60+) no luck in ageeeees.

There are also some statistics concerning the loot, although none of them mention the fishing skill (so might be an unimportant factor). Here are the statistics taken from https://tibia.fandom.com/wiki/Water_Elemental/Fishing_Statistics:

Thank you! If you have no fishing level and you looted the rarest thing of them all within 30 minutes (which doesn't happen often) I guess it would be safe to say fishing level probably has nothing to do with fishing loot from water elementals. I mean if there is a chance of increasing it anyway I'm sure it would be a noticeable difference. Gems all the time, imagine that.
