Obsidian Knife can be used for the following:

• Ice Sculpting
• Marble Sculpting
• Watermelon Tourmaline
• Skinning
• Other Usages

Ice Sculpting

• When using an Obsidian Knife on an Ice Cube, you might be successful on sculpting the first stage of an Ice Mamooth or the ice cube might break.
• There's a total of 4 stages of the Ice Mamooth. In order to reach its final stage, you must be successful when sculpting each stage.
• Success chances are higher if the orange wizard (Furb of Fun) wins The Colours of Magic.
• The English TibiaWiki has gathered Ice Sculpting Statistics.

Marble Sculpting

• When using an Obsidian Knife on a Piece of Marble Rock, you might be successful on sculpting a Beautiful Marble Statue, you might end up sculpting one of the two flawed marble sculptures (Rough Marble Statue and Marble Statue), or the marble might break.
• Success chances are higher if the orange wizard (Furb of Fun) wins The Colours of Magic.

Watermelon Tourmaline

Other Usages

• During Elemental Spheres Quest, every character is required to skin the corpse of Lord of the Elements. This has 100% success rate and will not advance the stage of the corpse to the next stage, so every player is able to skin the same corpse.
• After slaying The Mutated Pumpkin, characters have to enter a portal located to the east of Darashia and skin the mutated pumkin's corpse found there. This has 100% success rate and will not advance the stage of the corpse to the next stage, so every player is able to skin the same corpse. The item that each player gets by skinning it is random among those listed on the English TibiaWiki (Notes section).
• During An Uneasy Alliance Quest - Task "To Feed a Beast", you are able to skin Killer Caimans.
• An obsidian knife is required on Wrath of the Emperor - Mission 2.
• An obsidian knife is also required in An Interest In Botany Quest.
• An obsidian knife or a kitchen knife is needed to skin Rabbits during Rottin Wood and the Married Men Quest - Mission 1.
• During Krailos Quest - Revolt of the Goblins - Gathering Food, players have to skin 20 alive Holy Bog Frogs. They disappear when they are skinned. This skinning has 100% success rate.
• An obsidian knife, a kitchen knife, a cleaver or a small axe is needed during Grimvale Quest - An Ancient Feud - Destroy the evil site.
• You need a secret agent tool or an obsidian knife during Kilmaresh Quest - Wanted Mission.
